Soy Candles - Not for Consumption

Every now and then the cook may want to make a romantic evening package to give as a gift, or keep. This is a quick and easy way to make a soy candle...and get the fragrance you love or refill your special container.

16 oz container candle soy wax (from online suppliers - search for "soy wax supplier" or "soy candle making supplies")

15 ml essential oil (1/2 oz)

cotton wick, wick clip

Melt wax in microwave or double boiler using heat tolerant container. Around 150 degrees wax will liquefy. Try not to overheat. Wax will crystallize slowly. Add essential oils between 135 and 120 degrees and pour into prepared container. Place wick and cool!
