Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Smoky Molasses Mop

ere’s a great recipe for your next cookout!
1 Tbsp. dark brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. mild smoked paprika
1 tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground chipotle chile
2 (3/4 lb.) pork tenderloins
¼ cup molasses
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
Heat grill to medium. In small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, cumin, salt and ground chile. Rub mixture over pork tenderloins, pressing onto pork. Any mixture that falls off, scoop up and reapply.
In separate bowl, stir together molasses, lemon juice and garlic.
Place pork on grill over medium heat 4-6 inches from heat. Grill until browned on each side, turning to brown all sides. When browned, baste with molasses mop sauce. Continue grilling, basting frequently for 10-15 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160°.
Remove from grill and cover loosely with foil. Let pork rest at least 10 minutes before slicing.
 Tip & Tidbits
To prevent the sugar in the rub and mop from burning, turn and baste pork frequently.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin - 5 Star

1 (4 pound) boneless pork top loin roast
(single loin)
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

I made this for my folks for Mother's Day 2012 - very delicious. I made this without salt since my dad is on a salt restricted diet ...you could use garlic salt and onion salt.

Served with roasted broccoli and oven fries.

Place boneless pork loin on large cutting board or platter; brush oil over all sides. Set aside. Meanwhile, stir together dry rub seasoning. Rub over pork to cover.

Preheat grill on high.

Place pork loin over medium high heat  (about 400 degrees F.) gas grill. Cook for 5 minutes on each side to brown. Move pork to area on grill over indirect heat. Cook, covered for 25 - 30 minutes with the lid down  or until internal temperature reaches 150 degrees F. On gas grill, move pork to one side of grill; turn off the gas directly under the pork. Leave the rest of the grill on medium heat.

I used a gas grill with 3 burners.  Cooked the loins on the back  burner of the gas grill after they were seared... turned back burner to OFF
Turned the middle burner to Low
Turned the front burner to Med High

 Serve with your favorite sauce.

Rosemary Pork Tenderloin - Low Carb

An easy and delicious pork tenderloin recipe.

Cook Time: 20 minutes

2 pork tenderloins, about 2 pounds
3 tablespoons fresh rosemary, or about 1 tablespoon dried
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, halved
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 400°. Line a baking pan with foil, spray with cooking spray and place in oven. Trim fat from pork tenderloins and butterfly the meat, cutting them nearly in half lengthwise. Open the pork tenderloins and lay out, pounding to flatten with the palm of the hand or the bottom of a heavy skillet. Chop rosemary if using fresh. Rub pork tenderloins all over with cut sides of garlic halves then olive oil, then sprinkle rosemary on both sides.

Remove baking pan from the oven and place pork on hot tray. Return to oven and roast for about 20 minutes (about 155° to 160° internal temp). Remove and let stand 5 minutes, then slice.

Pork Tenderloin with Horseradish Sauce

This recipe comes from Ingredients, Inc - one of my favorite food blogs....please check her blog out. Recipe provided here because so many times the links don't work or they get changed.

I love recipes that are easy and quick......this one starts with a purchased, pre-marinated pork tenderloin (I like the cracked pepper version) and grill it or prepare it in the oven. Then, stir together this sauce

Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 22 minutes
6 to 8 servings

1 (8-ounce) container low-fat sour cream
2 tablespoons horseradish
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
2 (1 pound) pre-marinated pork tenderloin, cut into 1/4-inch slices

1. Combine sour cream, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce and chives in a small bowl; set aside.

2. Cook pork in a lightly greased grill or sauté pan over medium-high heat 10 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve on rolls with horseradish sauce and toppings, if desired.
