Pie Drink

This is my favorite adult fall beverage - but since it's not low carb, it's now special occasion only - but for all you who don't have to worry about carbs - you will want to make a big batch or two of "THE RECIPE".
Keeps a couple weeks but I doubt it will last that long at your house!

Ass Cracker Punch (Obviously An Adult Beverage)

This recipe hails from the town of Versailles, OH and comes from my dear friend, (you know who you are!)

To make 32 oz -

11. oz Vodka
13.oz Lemon-Lime Soda
6.5 oz Limeade
2.oz Lemonade

Or to make a lot for a party or wedding - here's the big batch recipe

Booze
5.5 parts Vodka
Mixers
6.5 parts Lemon-Lime Soda
3 parts Limeade
1 part Lemonade
This makes alot, but it is sooooo good and disappears fast.
Just dump 1/2 gal of vodka
1 12oz can of frozen lemonade
3 12oz cans of frozen limeade,
3 2liter bottles of 7-up or other lemon-lime soda
Serve over ice, and enjoy - You'll never even know there is vodka in it.

Brandy Slush

Refreshing drink that even those who hate tea will enjoy

  • 4 individual green or black tea bags
  • 9 cups water, divided
  • 2 cups brandy
  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

  • EACH SERVING:
  • 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda, chilled

  • GARNISH:
  • Orange or lemon slice
  •

    • Place tea bags in a small bowl. Bring 2 cups water to a boil; pour over tea bags. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags. Transfer tea to a large pitcher; stir in the brandy, lemonade concentrate, juice concentrate and remaining water. Pour into a 4-qt. freezer container. Freeze overnight or until set.
    • For each serving, scoop 3/4 cup slush into a rocks glass. Pour lemon-lime soda into the glass; garnish as desired. Yield: 21 servings (about 4 quarts slush mix).
    •  or

    • Try it with Blueberrry Vodka
Use cherry vodka instead of the brandy for a change.
It helps if every couple hours you stir the slush til it's frozen. Otherwise it's extra slushy in the center and hard on the outside.

    Low Sugar 007 (Orange Rum)

Named after our British friend James Bond for some reason, this is a light and refreshing drink with a hint of orange.

1 ounce Bicardi O Rum (or any orange flavored rum)
    Diet Sprite
Splash of Orange Flavored Crystal Light

The original recipe calls for regular sprite and real orange juice - replacedwith the sugar free options and found it to be equally as good. Thank goodness crystal light make their orange flavored drink meant to copy orange juice!

    She Loves Wine Fruity Martini

Even those who claim to HATE martinis like this, it is delish! I first made it for a "Create Your Own Martini Throw-Down" at a restaurant in Columbus after consuming too many miscellaneous Martinis with a few friends - until then, I'd never made a martini in my life.

    Equal parts: (1/2 oz each)

    Peach Schnappes
    Watermelon Schnappes
    Apple Pucker
    Island Blue Pucker
    vodka
    Splash White Cranberry Juice
    Splash of sour (bar) mix

Consuelo - Signature Drink of Albion Hotel, Bayfield, Canada

We literally planned our ENTIRE day around the sun setting over Lake Huron... and we were glad we did.... it was absolutely gorgeous... and made our evening glass of wine even more enjoyable. Then we hit the town and had one of the signature drinks from the Albion Hotel.

These drinks were $10 a piece......we only had one and only needed one.
We enjoyed these during our summer "girls weekend" to Canada
1.5 shot Long Island Ice Tea Mix
    1 shot Malibu Rum
    1 shot Banana Liqueur

splash of Tequilla (I'm going to leave that out, still haven't recovered from that college experience with Tequilla sunsets)

    Add ice,
Fill with lemon lime bar mix
    top off with Pepsi
    Add lemons, limes and cherries
Serve in a small deep bowl with 2 straws.
    Enjoy! We did!

    Peach Daiquiri

This recipe comes from my friend, Susan. Plan ahead... freeze your own peaches, they will be twice as good as anything you buy frozen.

    1 cup water
2 small freezer containers of partially thawed peaches in syrup
(or you can use canned but not nearly as good)
    ½ cup frozen lemonade concentrate
    Powdered sugar
    Crushed ice

Mix ½ of the ingredients at a time in the blender, adding powdered sugar to taste, then crushed ice. Puree and enjoy!
