CINDY’S OLD-FASHION CREAM PIE
This recipe is from Cindy - My sons love this pie.
1 pastry crust for a deep-dish pie 9-inch (homemade or store-bought)
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
1 cup whipping cream
2 egg yolks
butter
cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place empty pie shell on a cookie sheet with sides.
Mix sugar and flour, add eggs, beating well, gradually and milk and
whipping cream, pour into pie shell,
cut up a pat or two of butter –into slivers and distribute evenly on the top of this mixture, sprinkle generously with cinnamon.

Cover edges of pie crust for the first 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake an additional 35 minutes or until it is set up (will be bubbling ).
